Elevator Platforms

For the elimination of architectural barriers, when the space available and the structural constraints prevent the installation of a proper elevator, Platform Elevators are a viable alternative.
These elevators have a widespread use, since the Decree of the Minister of Public Works of June 14, 1989 n. 236 [technical requirements necessary to ensure accessibility, adaptability and visibility of private buildings and subsidized and facilitated  public housing , in order to overcome and eliminate architectural barriers].
The lifting platform doesn’t have car doors and has, for regulation, a rate of climb / descent  of  0.15 m/s at most, moving to a given floor only if the button is maintained pressed, according to a maneuver called ‘dead man’ feature.

The types of  platforms available are :
Pantograph platforms with which it is possible to  overcome small  differences of levels (such as connections with balconies or other accesses not aligned  to the street level);
platforms with a reduced headroom, which provided with reduced height cabin walls, overcome all problems of vertical space typically found in attics or lofts.
The product that the Del Bo offers is the lifting platform EMILIFT, a little “elevator” conceived, designed and built using the latest technology in terms of safety and energy savings.
The greatly reduced size of the pit and headroom, the ease of installation, the economic cost of purchase and maintenance, make the lifting platform a simple solution for new and existing buildings.
