Thanks to the innovative procedures of verification, control and management of existing facilities, the del Bo consortium is able to advise its clients on the best solutions for each type of elevator modernization, to ensure:
• Improvement of safety;
• Improved accessibility and usability;
• A reduction of environmental impact and optimization of energy efficiency;
• An aesthetic requalification;
• The improvement of performance of the elevator system.
Improvement of safety
Since June 24, 1999, all newly installed elevators must meet the safety requirements contained in the European Lift Directive 95/16 EC, implemented by DPR 162/99. In fact, the approximately 150,000 elevators installed since 1999 can be safely considered ‘safe’. UNI EN 81-80 provides rules for the improvement of safety of existing elevators, with the aim of reaching a level equivalent to that of newly installed elevators compliant with the new safety rules. The del Bo consortium has prepared packages of predefined components that satisfy the requirements of this rule in accordance with the priorities established by the evaluation and risk analysis.
Improved accessibility
In compliance with UNI EN 81-70 (Safety rules for the construction of elevators - Particular applications for passengers and goods - Accessibility to elevators for people including people with disabilities) the del Bo Consortium is able to propose the most appropriate solution, consistent with the condition of the premises, to ensure the safe use of elevators by people with disabilities.
Reduction of environmental impact and optimization of energy efficiency
The ISO 14001 certification demonstrates the company's real commitment to minimizing the environmental impact of its processes, products and services. In this vein, the del Bo consortium invests in innovative research and in the best technologies available, in order to entirely eliminate the use of toxic products and to reduce energy consumption in new and existing systems.
Aesthetic Requalification
Research on materials and finishes allows us to improve the aesthetic appearance of the cabin and of the general system. In this way, in addition to increasing the enhancement of the entire building, it is also more pleasant to use the elevator.
Improved performance
Work on the elevator systems, proposed by del Bo, in addition to raising standards in terms of safety, accessibility, aesthetics and efficiency, provides better performance in terms of noise, ride comfort and stopping accuracy.
